Matshita error while ripping some disks

Post by KinKaray » Wed Oct 28, 2026 6:33 pm

Hello everybody, I'm trying to rip some of my late father DVD collection through MakeMKV, but it shows the error below, but only in a few DVDs, in others it goes smoothly. Tried changing the USB port, but the problem persists.

I've tried looking for a firmware update, but found only some old Sony Vaio sites with dead links. Is there a way I can solve this issue?

The drive is a MATSHITA BD-MLT UJ252 Revision: 1.00.

P.S.: My drive is connected via USB on my Unraid Server, where I have a Docker with MakeMKV.
