LG BU40N enclosure?

Bought an LG 183663 (BU40N) slimline SATA Blu-ray drive and a generic USB 3 to slimline SATA cable. Seems to work fine ripping regular Blu-rays plugged into a USB 3.2 gen 2 port with 1.5 amps.

I have a few 4K UHD Blu-rays and am considering flashing the drive. The USB cable has the drive showing up as a generic BD-ROM as opposed to a LibreDrive supported device. Makes me think this cable won't work for reflashing and I need an enclosure.

Searching the forum I see the Vantec enclosure was the recommended one but it's no longer made. The other recent recommendations I've seen are for Europe. Does anyone have a new recommended enclosure for this drive that's available in the US?

Thanks. I did look at the options on the guide but couldn't find a TS14 from the Silverstone where to buy page. I only checked about half of them so I can go check the more esoteric sites too.

At this point I'm considering buying the slimline to SATA adapter and powered SATA to USB adapter I've seen mentioned in other threads and 3d printing an enclosure to hold it all securely. It'll be ugly but hopefully it will work...

Next time I'm just getting a 5.25" drive...

Billy, I've never had that issue and I have had 100+ of those Silverstone TS14 enclosures putting both BU40N's and UD03's in them. The eject button works fine on every single one of them!

That's good to hear I trust what you say more than the 2 random people that told me that could have been the same guy
I'll update the guide
It's very hard to find a 9.5mm drive case right now as we know

Yeah, even these Silverstone TS14's are pretty much gone, I think. Most places I've tried no longer have them.
