Kill Bill TWBA How I Ripped it with Dolby Vision successfully

KBTWBA (either disc) wouldn't rip with lattest KEYDB downloaded.
Both discs ripped with alternate software but no Dolby Vision.

So I made an (unencrypted) backup of both discs and ripped from those, as suggested on these forums.

The rips were successful, registered as Dolby Vison on my TV via Nividia Shield but immediately stopped playing after a few seconds and caused my Shield to crash.

So I tried the only thing I could think of and ran the MKVS (made from the backups) through the make MKV process again. I changed no settings and kept everything.

This "re-mkved" MKV plays flawlessly with Dolby Vision on the same equipment with the same settings, audio and subtitles the first MKV failed on.

I have used the "re-mkv" trick successfully before on MKV files (made via MakeMkv) that didn't work the first time. With all the exact same settings.

I have been assured by other MakeMkv users that making a second MKV file from the first cannot possibly fix anything but I am telling you from my observations of reality it can. Yes, playing the exact same audio.

So if your first MKV fails to play properly, try re-making it. I don't care what self proclaimed "experts" want to claim. I know what works because I have experienced it working.
