Hello ,

have compiled latest version according to your guide for ubuntu
on devuan 6 - it seem function ok,

however, on this older drive (LG GGC-H20N) it would not detect the bluay disc
when i start the program in windows 7 it would.

could it be that the guide need some adaptation to function also good with older drive or what am i missing on linux?

Hi !
Try to put the disc in the drive and wait until it shows on Linux *before* starting Makemkv. It may be a difference. If not ask again.

think there are some error involved,
had downloaded now the sdf.bin file and put into .makemkv folder,

but upon opening program , it gets deleted.

Put the following line in ~/.MakeMKV/settings.conf:
