MakeMKV 1.18.4 Mac says "No disc" when I try to convert Three Billboards. Is this a known problem?

"No disk" typically means that nothing was detected in the drive. Have you tried cleaning the disk, then retrying?

Yes, I cleaned the disc twice, but unfortunately that didn't help. (In many other cases it did help). The disc player also sounds strange when the disc is in the drive and when MakeMKV tries to detect the disc.
I ripped another disc right before this one without any problems, and I just tried it again with a different disc afterward — it works fine.
The disc does play fine also on a Blu-ray player.

There is also the possibility that the blue laser failed. That other disk was a BD, hopefully, to test that.
