Failed to save titles (log file attached)

I purchased the "Andromeda" box set (5 seasons, 30 disks) and started ripping them to my NAS. The first season (all 5 disks) ripped without a problem. All other seasons had problems - none of the episodes would rip, but the one or two specials in each season did rip. No error messages except for "failed to save". :?

According to the packaging, the first season was packaged by "Beyond Home Entertainment", while the remaining seasons are from "Force Entertainment".

I am using a registered version of MakeMKV (1.6.15 win(x64)), on a HP Pavilion dv6 laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate (x64).

Any thoughts? Thanks.

(note: log file was shortened to only show the first failure, otherwise it was 1.5Mb even when ZIPed)

This is apparent disc mastering error or a new protection. I have to ask you to do a testdump for each episode that fails, per instructions at http://www.makemkv.com/onlinehelp/testdump.html .

Damn. I'd hoped that MakeMKV v1.6.16 would fix my problem, but no-go.

I am having the same problem with Andromeda Season 2 - 5. Using MakeMKV 1.70

Was there any ever resolution to this problem?

As of Version 1.8.3. the same issue is present, Andromeda Season 1 box set will copy, but Season's 2-5 will not.

Can you guys all do the testdump that mike linked to above with 1.8.3 please.

you need to email it as the instructions instruct.

Andromeda Season 2 results with MakeMKV 1.8.4
Success. Episodes are now able to be converted to MKV.

A similar message to below was seen for all episodes:

"Saving 1 titles into directory E:/Video/ANDROMEDA_S
The source file '/VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_1.VOB' is corrupt or invalid at offset 1714176, attempting to work around"

The process did complete successfully.

Keep up the great work with the constant improvements ot teh software.
