Hi - sorry to hijack.

I have the exact same drive:

Drive Information
OS device name: \Device\CdRom0
Current profile: BD-ROM
Manufacturer: HL-DT-ST
Product: BD-RE BU40N
Revision: 1.05
Serial number: MOEPAIH1509
Firmware date: 2124-04-23 13:47
Bus encryption flags: 17
Highest AACS version: 61

Can I Confirm the link to the update tool works? Just because BU40N revision 1.05 wasnt specifically listed.

Cheers

After doing this, I was still unable to rip newer UHD releases (4K James Cameron - Aliens, The Abyss, and True Lies all unreadable). I then cross-flashed to HL-DT-ST BD-RE BP60NB10 VERSION 1.0 - (libre-drive enabled). It is now reading the Cameron 4Ks, Aliens and Abyss have now ripped 4K Dolby-vision MKVs. True Lies is just about complete. :)
