It is working on my Mac. In fact, it is running in the background as I type this.natra wrote: Fri Nov 29, 2024 7:22 am Hi, I'm wondering why is make MKV not working anymore with Mac?
On mine, it hasn't worked for months. I've only used my Windows computer. The problem that I am having is I can hear the disc is skipping about 2 to 3 minutes into the rip and then at the end it almost just stops.
I only have one optical drive and it happens with every movie and I have a Mac mini M1.dcoke22 wrote: Fri Nov 29, 2024 1:52 pm Are you using the same optical drive on both your Mac and your Windows computer or does each computer have a separate optical drive?
And does your Mac have this behavior with 1 particular disc or with all discs that you try?
Probably a power issue.natra wrote: Fri Nov 29, 2024 11:39 pmI only have one optical drive and it happens with every movie and I have a Mac mini M1.dcoke22 wrote: Fri Nov 29, 2024 1:52 pm Are you using the same optical drive on both your Mac and your Windows computer or does each computer have a separate optical drive?

Thanks, man you were right. It was the power supply. It was not all the way in because I'm using adapter one thing I can recommend to everybody does ripping a lot is to buy a 5V fan and put it on top of the optical drive.Billycar11 wrote: Sat Nov 30, 2024 12:13 amProbably a power issue.natra wrote: Fri Nov 29, 2024 11:39 pmI only have one optical drive and it happens with every movie and I have a Mac mini M1.dcoke22 wrote: Fri Nov 29, 2024 1:52 pm Are you using the same optical drive on both your Mac and your Windows computer or does each computer have a separate optical drive?
