makemkv cannot rip DVD Avatar WoW EAN 8717418615499 but brasero can

When I attempt to rip to an iso the dvd of "Avatar : La Voie de l'eau (2022)- EAN 8717418615499" (French edition) I get (with debug):

dvdbackup had no issue (but I would like to have a backup iso of each of my dvd).

brasero also rips this dvd to an iso fine, so I wonder what is wrong with makemkv (brasero has only libdvdcss2 decrypting afaik).

Note that opening the (I believe decrypted) iso from brasero with makmkv gives me the same error as opening the original dvd

I use makemkv for Linux "MakeMKV v1.17.7 linux(x64-release)" on Debian Trixie (testing)
Note that I have the iso that makes makemkv fail, not only the dvd which should ease testing.

I don't know if this issue oly affect the linux version thus I posted in the generic DVD topic.

DVDFab13 DVD Copy is able to make the iso (though as makemkv warns that DVDFab might damage the VOBs I would like makemkv to be able to copy the iso from the dvd).

Also weird is it seems brasero is able to make the iso from the dvd ... while brasero hasn't seen an update in quite many years.

I mostly want these ISO as backups of the physical DVD. So as you advertise that DVDFab might damage the VOBs I cannot rely on it.
