I have a WH16NS40 flashed to MakeMKV's custom firmware to rip UHD Blu-ray. The drive is in Ratoc RP-EC5-U3AI USB enclosure and connected to MacBook Pro which running macOS 14.5 by USB 3.0 B to C cable directly, no USB hub or converter is used. I had use this setup to rip 16 UHD Blu-ray successfully. However, when I tried to rip another UHD Blu-ray after few days, I got "LibreDrive compatible drive is required to open this disc - video can't be decrypted." error. I ensured the LibreDrive status is "Enabled". I tried to remove "_private_data.tar" then restart the computer and the app but still got the same error. I also checked the computer can connect to "hkdata.fairuse.org". I tested can rip Blu-ray and DVD successfully.
I had also tried to rip in Windows 10 environment, unfortunately still got the same error.
