Dump submitted for Dune 2021

Post by Marshalljon » Tue Apr 30, 2024 4:32 pm

Good day everyone.

I submitted by email 5 days ago and still no luck. I’m new to this, it’s my second 4K rip. Should I wait longer or it simply won't work with my drive? Thank you!

Wait longer. It might take a couple of weeks.

There are a bunch of Dune (2021) threads: https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=145541#p145541

I don't see that anyone else has posted your exact dump.

There's a UHD FAQ if you want to read more about the process. The hashed keys section is the most relevant.

Did you do anything to make it work? I've been having the same issue. I had messages in the MakeMKV log saying my auto-downloading of the HK table was disabled or not allowed. I followed steps to remedy that such as disabling Geo-Blocking in my Unifi router settings, using a VPN, disabling my firewall temporarily. Not sure which did it, but I don't see that error anymore.

However, I still simply get the "volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted" error.

Thanks.
