Problems with LOTR:FotR Disc 2

Post by mustang5o » Thu Apr 25, 2024 9:02 pm

I've tried both my copy and a friends copy and they are getting the same error. I've cleaned the disk well with 91% alcohol but still getting the hash error seen in the image. Had it on a few other discs but figured I'd use this as the example.

The image link requires you to log in with a GOOGLE account to view the image, so only people with such accounts have a chance of seeing it.

I don't use google photos often. I created a new link that says anyone with the link should be able to view the photo. It still won't show in the post. Can I just leave the link? I tested this link in another browser that I am not logged in to google with and the image shows up.

I got the same error with disk 2. The other 8 disks worked without issue. I’m told pioneer drives might work better but I don’t want to shell out that much for one disk. I’ll keep using my LG drive
