MakeMKV will not load / open Kraftwerk 12345678 3-D BD disc

Hi All,

I am wondering if there is anything that can be done.

I have two (different) drives here and neither plays the ball with the disc (one is BU40N and other is something else, cannot remember. Both have libra FW BU40N is 1.3 and other is 1.2).

Is it matter of luck with finding drive that would allow me to rip it or are there some trick I could try with my current ones?

After inserting BD to BU40N it will try to read it for about 30min and then would spit it out while other gives up after abut 3min saying no disc.

Discs plays well in all of my 3 consumer BD media players.

It is brand new and spotless, fresh from the packaging.

And, again, have you tried cleaning the disk?

"Fresh from the packaging" means "Contains all contaminates found in the packaging". It does NOT mean "Clean and perfect".

Will try cleaning it and report back. Any specific ways to do it or just gentle wipe with a dry lint free cloth?

I'm a huge Kraftwerk fan and I can confirm MakeMKV will NOT load/rip Kraftwerk 3D BD Discs. I bought this software to specifically to rip this concert. Imagine my disappointment that it totally fails to so so.

Ok, thank you for confirming as my disc is spotless so it is not dirt on it that causes problems.

I wonder if we can flag it to MakeMKV team to get it resolved somehow.
