Just received my copy (in Best Buy Steelbook packaging), and it's ripping with no issues.

Odd, this is not working for me - I just picked up a regular (non-Steelbook) copy at Best Buy today, along with Inglorious Basterds in 4K as well. Makemkv could not open A Clockwork Orange, but it ripped Inglorious Basterds just fine, so it found the latest HK for that.

After that, I tried again to rip A Clockwork Orange - no luck. Still the same "volume key is unknown" error. It's not my ISP, firewall, or anything like that. Restarted the computer, re-opened MakeMKV - same error. This must be a new batch of 4K discs that have a different volume key?

I submitted the dump file to the email address in the FAQ.

Edit: 11-1-2021 this is working now, thanks!
