UHD just stopped working *Solved*

I couldn't find anything related to this, but if there is already a related post please just let me know.

I have ripped a handful of UHD using MakeMKV and haven't had a single issue until now. Last night i was ripping disc 1 of planet earth 2, the first 2 episodes were fine but the 3rd failed. I tried again and ever since I haven't been able to rip a single UHD. I have tried Valerian and Fantastic beasts and i am getting the same issues where it says i need a Libredrive. My drive is a BU40N running 1.0 original firmware so i am confused about the error. I updated and reinstalled makemkv and no luck, any help would be appreciated.

I didn't even think to check that, I swapped cables and it worked like a charm. I guess the old one had been bent one too many times.

Your drive is losing power unexpectedly use a high powered usb port or both usb cable on separate usb circuits
