making mkv of hogans heros series season 1has flashing green entirly through season 2-6 are fine using vlc player

Are you playing the MKVs created from MakeMKV directly or have you run them through Handbrake or another program to make them smaller?

i have done both

tried a different converter to mp4 and it removed the flashing green. this will work for me to play on smart tv but still in original mkv file. thanks for your time.
