Can't turn off subtitles in Windows Media Center

Post by tbotello » Thu Sep 16, 2010 2:40 pm

I've tried two separate dvd rips to mkv and I can't get them to turn off in Win7's WMC. I'm using shark007's codec for mkv playback and the playback is fine. But I can't turn subtitles/captions off. Even when I hit the arrow button to bring up info during playback, it doesn't bring up the subtitle menu. However, I am able to turn them off using VLC. Is it the codec I'm using? Is there possibly a more preferred codec/plug-in to use for WMC for mkv playback. Thanks in advance.
