I have tried multiple times to save the DVD "RED 2" to MKV but it keeps failing
When reading the DVD the log has
CellWalk algorithm failed (structure protection is too tough?), trying CellTrim algorithm
The MKV browser window shows 10 Titles with 6 Titles being around 6GB each.
If a two layer DVD holds 9.4 GB something does not add up.
I have tried cleaning the DVD with a microfiber cloth and verified the movies plays on my Blue ray player.
Any suggestions on how to trouble shoot or work around the error?

Re: Red 2 (two) 0 titles saved, 1 failed
RED2 is a Lionsgate release, and only one of the movie titles is real. The others are constructed out of multiple scenes, and sometimes just invalid areas of the disk, to cause problems similar to this. Which title is correct varies with where and when you bought the disk.
For Bluray, there is a way to figure this out in MakeMKV, with Java installed. I have not seen the same capability for DVD, although it must exist, because VLC and Handbrake (if you use a 3rd-party decryption library) usually pick out the correct title.
Hopefully someone that has RED2 on DVD can pop up with which title is the most likely one. Based on what is in the Wikipedia entry for RED2, this one has the correct length:
