The error sequence matches a drive going off-line during the read, due to running out of power. It CAN come from an error on the disk, but it probably isn't. If you try the rip immediately afterward, the location of the error will probably change. If it does, the likelihood of it being the disk itself is pretty low.

OK, that drive is a laptop "internal USB" drive, and can have trouble with power if the laptop isn't plugged in and charging. Everything will be fine until the read speed starts to climb.

Right now, there is no speed limit setting in MakeMKV - it's going to request data as fast as the drive is willing to give it. The error you saw about the "TRACK FOLLOWING ERROR" may be the trigger... Spinning disk uses up available power, then the head needs to move. Electronics reset because of voltage drop. While it is resetting, you get I/O errors.

Again, this is just the most likely scenario - try ripping the disk again. If the error happens very close to the same offset, then we're looking at a disk error, rather than a drive error.

Hello again, thank you so much for your comprehensive answer. In the meantime I had ripped the disk using my external Pioneer BDR-209M in Bytecc case (plugged in to wall). Error results below. Im not positive the offsets are close, I don't understand the size relation for offsets...
