Descriptive audio for visually impaired...

#1 Post by Alamat » Sat Nov 14, 2015 4:03 am

I have just ripped 3 BDs and all of them have this audio track. I used to just select the best HD audio, DD 5.1 or 7.1 or DTS and also the forced subtitles. Is there a something I'm missing in the Make MKV GUI that I'm getting this track?

It's just another audio track to MakeMKV, and sometimes (often? don't know myself) it is done with at least the same "level" of audio as the main audio track.

This is one reason why I tell MakeMKV to rip all audio and subtitle tracks, view a portion of the video with VLC to assess what each track is, and then use handbrake to compress the video AND select the proper audio/subtitle tracks for my needs.
