Wrong audio channel layout on DTS-HD Master Audio

#1 Post by Rob_H » Fri Aug 21, 2015 9:43 pm

I'm trying to backup my Banshee Chapter blu-ray, which has a single DTS-HD Master Audio track, but the audio channel layout is wrong in the output. I'm getting dialog on the front left channel and the front right channel seems to be surround. Anyone experience anything like this and know how to fix it? I've tried selecting both the DTS-HD MA and DTS "core" separately. It doesn't seem to make any difference. This is on Linux.

Either the track is screwy, or you're player is. If it's the track, you'll have to re-encode it using FFMPEG to FLAC or whatever while remixing the channels to their proper order.

Thanks. I'll try exchanging the disc.
