Metadata Language

#1 Post by FlyBoy » Tue Dec 30, 2014 5:32 pm

Does anyone know what exactly is being changed in the MKV file when you write something in the metadata language box in expert mode?

Is it any different if you write something in this metadata language box if you have an audio track selected versus having a subtitle track selected?

Thanks for the help.

Sorry for necroposting, but I couldn't find the answer on this forum.
What's the answer?

This changes the language and/or track name. You can also change it later with the "MKVToolNIX GUI" Header Editor.
Good Luck :)
