Read Rate Speed

I wanted to inquire if there was a software change in the program which is impacting the "Read Rate Speed?" That is, I usually obtained 6 - 10X read speeds, yet now I am only in the 2.4X range. I understand that this is movie dependent, but this is a significant difference.

I am using the LG WH14NS40 drive with current firmware.

Any feedback?

I'm stuck at 0.2x at the moment because I'm using really insane FLAC encoding settings I stole from a thread on the forum.

Maybe you did something similar recently.
