Error backing up discs with Pioneer BDR-XD05W External Drive

Greetings,

MakeMKV starts to analyze the disc and when it has finished, it exits with a fatal error. This happens on regular DVDs as well so I think it has an issue recognizing my drive fully. In previous versions it was said to delete a couple of dll files (libdriveio.dll and libdriveio64.dll) and replace them. Those files are no longer available but I'm sure they wouldn't work anyway (this was related to a version 1.6.6 problem of the same kind). Does anyone have a fix for this? I don't want to buy the program if I can't backup my discs. I'd like to avoid buying a different drive in case it happens with that one as well (I just bought the Pioneer one today).

Would certainly help to have some information to go on.... Please turn on debug logging and post the debug log in a reply. That will HOPEFULLY have some information on the errors being encountered.
