Hi
I'm having some issues playing MKV's using MPC-HC 1.7.5
When the video is played the audio drops out a few times during the 1st 30 secs or so.
Looking at my AV Receiver the True HD/DTS MA is lost, then reconnects again hence the drop out.
It might be that the actual drop out is tiny but it's causing the Audio stream to break which results in a 1-2s drop out.
What's odd is after 10-30a it stops doing this and plays absolutely perfectly.
Maybe once or twice (out of many) it will drop the audio mid video.
I'm using MadVR and with plenty of frames presented in advance and lots in the buffer...
Maybe this is causing it?
But like I say apart from the start up phase the playback/stability/picture quality/audio is awesome
Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? Any solutions?
thanks

Re: Audio issue whilst playing MKV's using MPC-HC
madvr is graphics renderer. It should have nothing to do with audio.
Have you tried using Reclock + WASPI to give exclusive control of audio ouput to MPC-HC? Any audio interruption during playback will drop receiver out from bitstream, unless you are in WASPI mode.
Or you can just convert them into FLAC and if your receiver doesn't support anything greater than 5.1 set LAV Audio to downmix into 5.1.
