I'm using 1.8.7 on windows 7 x64 (External blu ray player LG). I've ripped about 7 blu ray and 2 DVD's so far with no issues. The movie "Pitch Perfect" is giving me problems. The first time I tried is took much longer than other blu ray rips. At the end, I got an error (dialog box) reporting 0 files written. Not a long explanation as to why. I am in the process of trying again and I am seeing the same behavior. The "Time Remaining" bounces all over the place. From 30 mins, then back to over 2 hours, then back to 15 mins. The first time through I did not take note of this detail. If it fails again I will try to post a log if I can find one.
thanks

When you have logging turned on, when you begin MakeMKV, it will tell you the path to the log file as one of the first few lines in the log output window.

Re: Blu Ray version of Pitch Perfect
OK, tried it again and it work as expected. I powered cycled my external blu ray burner. I swear, I've been doing this for a while, and it never ceases to amaze me how temper mental the mixture of hardware and software on windows can be.
thanks for the help folks.
