Audio matching video

#1 Post by jeff6605 » Tue Nov 10, 2009 12:28 am

I just started using Make MKV. I think it is a great program and very easy to use. I think I am having problems with the audio matching the video. When people talk the audio seems to be off a bit from an actors spoken word. I use plex. To try and correct the issue I stop and restart the movie to the same position and sometimes this fixes the appearance of mismatched audio. Then sometimes it gets off track again and I do the same thing to fix it. Never happens more than about twice while playing a DVD. Is this just me? Is it a problem with my streaming? Has anyone had this problem. I am using the standard ripping profile, clicking the copy DVD button using the mac mini.

Hi,

I am having problems with certain MKVs in Plex as well. The same files play fine with MPlayer OS X Extended on the same hardware, and my WD TV media player, so it's debatable that this is a MakeMKV issue. More likely some Plex problem.

Here is my thread on the Plex forum, maybe you can add some info:
