Strange problem

#1 Post by doryphore » Sat Dec 01, 2012 10:45 am

Hello

I had a problem with bluray, impossible to rip with MakeMKV, bluray scratched. it has already happened to me.
Message: Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST: ILLEGAL MODE FOR THIS TRACK'

I've tried to clean it many times, without success

So, I tried to create an image with imgburn and An....: created image of size equal to the byte near with the BR.
Then, I mounted the image but I still got the same message with makemkv: Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST: ILLEGAL MODE FOR THIS TRACK
I noticed that the image presented problem blocking playback on the PC.

So I bought "isobusterpro" to rip the BR.
BR ripped and play ok on the PC, without blocking. :D
So I tried to create the mkv file ripped from by clicking on "index ...". MakeMKV BR has recognized in its entirety.
But I have not been able to create the mkv: Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST: ILLEGAL MODE FOR THIS TRACK

I try with HDdecrypter: ok
I created one m2ts with the language and subtitle, and it's ok

Strange, isn't it ?

Hi!

I think you should just be happy that you managed to recover the disc in ANY format ;>}
