Failed to open disk

Hi,

I don't know if I've missed something but after I installed MakeMKV and are trying make a MKV-file from a DVD, I get this message everytime (see below).
Tried to install CCCP but the same message shows.
Also tried to install the Mac-version on Mac, same here, disc won't open.

MakeMKV v1.4.6 beta win(x86-release) started

On PC, I'm using Windows 7 Beta build 7068.

Anyone that has any suggestions? Any help much appriciated!

What disc were you trying to open? Did you try opening various discs? I had this same error on a disc I had all scratched to hell and after I got the error I tried to open it with a few other programs and they all gave me problems.

As you said, when I tried with another disc it made a MKV-file. And after looking at the disc that did'nt work it was scratched up pretty badly.

But now I have a new problem and it is the volume. It's very low. The 6 channel movie sound is low but the 2 channel commentary track is perfekt.

Any suggestions?
