Can't get beta working?

I was testing beta 1.7.0, but a message came up saying my "Evaluation Period has Expired".
I tried adding the key from the "MakeMKV is free while in beta" post in the news area, but that says the code is no good even though the post says the code should work until end of February 2012 right under the code... ???

In the download area is says, "Program is time-limited -- it will stop functioning after 60 days. You can always download the latest version from makemkv.com that will reset the expiration date."

But even after getting the latest version 1.7.2, it's still no go...

This is odd, the About MakeMKV into window says the version expires April 7th, but Evaluation: ended. ???

which, to be fair, isn't exactly obvious since the download page doesn't make any mention of it.

I tried what I think was same code 2 or 3 times and it didn't work, but this time it did... go figure.
