Failed to Save Back to the Future Blu Ray

#1 Post by michiganman » Thu Oct 20, 2011 4:08 am

I am a relative newbie to MakeMKV, but have used it to rip ~50 movies successfully.

I have repeatedly been unable to rip the Blu Ray "Back to the Future". The string of errors I get before the ultimate failure is:

The source file '/BDMV/STREAM/00800.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset 2174545920, attempting to work around
The source file '/BDMV/STREAM/00800.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset 2174545920, attempting to work around
The source file '/BDMV/STREAM/00800.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset 2174545920, attempting to work around

It is a brand new three disc box set (clean discs) and the "Back to the Future II" and "Back to the Future III" movies ripped fine the first time.

Any Suggestions?

Code: Select all

The source file '/BDMV/STREAM/00800.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset 2174545920, attempting to work around
This error means your drive is unable to pull the data from the disc. There are no copy protections on blu-ray that would cause this. The only explanation is that the disc is dirty, or damaged. You may wish to try cleaning the disc with a clean microfiber cloth.
