Sorry, I'm new here. I still get issues with that UHD, even after getting latest keydb.cfg file. Is there anything else I can do? The same source worked well with DGDemux, apparently. I'm on macOS.

It looks as if MakeMKV already has the keys to decrypt your disk, but your drive is struggling to read sections of it. Have you tried gently cleaning your disk?

Thanks. The content is already ripped and sitting on my disk, so yes already decrypted. I can even "Show package content" from the BDMV file, find the right .m2ts stream and remux it with mkvtoolnix.
However, trying to open the same BDMV file with MakeMKV, I get these errors. I'm puzzled, never had this before. I'm back to Mac after a few years, but basically I've been a non-stop MakeMKV user for over 10 years.

EDIT: forgive me, after 2 days I realized the HDD failed me completely (don't format HDD with APFS on macOS...). Starting from new clean source, no more issue in MakeMKV, I'm good now.

Are you sure that the US version is in the DB? It just came out today in the US and I', receiving:

"Saved AACS dump file as /Volumes/Media/Video/Video Export/MKB20_v82_Fight_Club_ACE0.tgz
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc"

Should I submit the information. I'm new here but can figure it out.

You need to email that MKB20_v82_Fight_Club_ACE0.tgz file to svq@makemkv.com. And while you're waiting, you could also try downloading the latest KEYDB.cfg file, copying it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files - /Volumes/Media/Video/Video Export/ apparently, in your case) and restarting MakeMKV. According to the OP, this KEYDB.cfg file already contains the keys you need.

FYI I received my copy a couple of hours ago and grabbed the latest keydb.cfg that @MrPenguin linked to and was able to load up the 4K disc.

Installed the latest keydb file from the previous link, restarted MakeMKV, and I still get "The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted."

Hmmm.

Hmmm.
What is the name of the .tgz file that MakeMKV produced? Presuming it is different than the one mentioned in this thread the disc requires a different key.

Email the .tgz file to svq@makemkv.com so MakeMKV can eventually produce a hashed key for the disc. Also, post to the Public KeyDB thread (following the template from the first post) so a key for the disc can be added to the public KeyDB.

MakeMKV supports two different, unrelated key mechanisms. One is the built in hashed keys and the other is the Public KeyDB.
