Verbatim LG BU40N stoped reading empty Discs

Hey everyone,

Im having som issues witg mya LG BU40N Drive.
I ripped about 150 to 200 Discs so far.
I also burnd about 50 Blurays and Dvds.

Yesterday I wanted to burn a Blu-ray and a DVD. Unfortunately, I had to realize that my drive no longer recognizes any blanks. I tested DVD blanks with 5GB, as well as 25GB Blu-rays. Neither of them is recognized, and I only get the message that no disc is present. 50GB Blu-rays, on the other hand, are recognized. I hope someone here has a solution for this.

You could try gently cleaning the laser assembly. Use some isopropyl alcohol on a Q-Tip on the lens. Do it twice and then gently wipe dry with a clean microfiber cloth. Don't let the alcohol evaporate on the lens.

I don't know if that's what's wrong with your drive, but it might help.
