Ronin rips with Directors commentary
Re: Ronin rips with Directors commentary
blu-ray.com suggests (https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Ronin-4K-Blu-ray/316415/) that Ronin (1998) has DTS audio. I don't know what your playback setup is, but by default Windows Media Player does not have the codecs to decode and playback DTS audio. It can, however, play Dolby Digital AC-3 audio and often commentary tracks on movies use the more basic AC-3 codec.
The utility MediaInfo (https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo) can show you a lot of details about your .mkv files, including how many and what kind of audio tracks are in them.
There are codec packs that can be downloaded and installed for Windows Media Player. Or, try VLC (https://www.videolan.org/vlc/) which can play nearly everything by default.
