I rented the Shrek 4-movie collection from the library and ripped all 3 of 4 Blu-rays. I kept getting errors on Shrek 2. When I first inserted the Blu-ray, MakeMKV said "protection AACS v19"

Error 'OS error - The end-of-file marker has been reached. There is no valid data in the file beyond this marker' occurred while reading '\Device\CdRom0' at offset '23106746368' udf: node fe/efe failed!
I cleaned it and can't see any scratches on it. I put it in my PS5, and there aren't any errors so far. I have an ASUS BW-16D1HT.

What happens if you power cycle the drive? By that I mean completely remove both the power plug and the USB data cable for 20 or 30 seconds, then connected it again and power it up?
In my experience, the LG based drives occasionally get confused and need to be 'rebooted'.

I have an internal Asus BW drive. I powered cycled my PC and it did the same thing.
