HD-DVD Issue

Im using my Xbox 360 HD DVD drive on win 11 pc. Some hddvds are ripping fine to mkv. But others only the special features are being recognized at the start. Is there a reason makemkv is not recognizing the main feature on some discs?
Any help appreciated.

I can't speak toward HD-DVD specifically as I've never used it, but this issue looks to me like the select track logic isn't working. You may need to switch to expert mode and change the track selection logic.

As for MakeMKV not recognizing the main feature, it could be due to how some discs are authored. Some titles place the main movie in a different playlist or use seamless branching, which MakeMKV might not always detect correctly.
