Have 4K Blu-ray makers given up on creating new encryption codes?

#1 Post by RasterEyes » Sun Dec 22, 2024 10:01 pm

I haven't had a problem in months with any new release not ripping immediately, instead of waiting a week or so for someone to break the code on the new release.

I suppose that might be a bad thing, another death knell for physical media, but maybe the studios are realizing that those few who still want to buy physical media are the last people they have to worry about for piracy problems.
