Hi. I'm looking to move up to uhd disc & am confused by everything I'm reading. I know I need certain drives with a specific or modified firmware to work with uhd disc. I have never used make mkv, I used dvd fab but would like to try make mkv. So I found a wh 16ns60 drive on ebay & am wondering would this work out of the box or do o need to flash it with a modified firmware? I know I can also buy a modified drive with the firmware so I'm trying to see best option. I know the ns60 will work with dvd fab but im looking to try make mkv first.

The first post of the Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide is maintained and has all the instructions for flashing your drive. It is pretty information dense, so you might have to read it a couple of times before it starts to make sense.
