MakeMkv and .bdmv files

Has anyone come across an issue opening .bdmv files in MakeMkv? I click File>Open Files, navigate to Index.bdmv and nothing happens, the dialogue box disappears but MakeMkv does nothing, no error or anything. I've also tried the MovieObject.bdmv....Should MakeMkv be able to open these??

My typical workflow is to make a decrypted backup with MakeMKV first then open that backup with MakeMKV. Via File -> Open Files I select 'BDMV' from the folder that contains the backup I'm interested in. Finder lists 'BDMV' as an AVCHD Collection. If I wanted to see inside it with Finder, I have to right-click and select 'Show Package Contents'.

Navigating to Index.bdmv or MovieObject.bdmv is hard to do since they're both inside the BDMV collection, which both Finder and the macOS System default file picker treat special.
