Pioneer BD-RW BDR-211M 1.02 ID60

#1 Post by guho0 » Sat Aug 26, 2023 1:14 am

I have a Pioneer internal 5.25" BD-RW BDR-211M on old firmware 1.02 ID60. It works as-is with libredrive and makemkv. I know updating to the very newest firmware is irreversible and probably not a good idea. But are there any benefits to upgrading this drive from its current 1.02 firmware to a newer version (1.50 perhaps) that is still fully libredrive or makemkv-compatible?
