I recently installed an ASUS BW-16D1HT into my home server running Unraid to rip 4K movies. I set up the drive and everything seemed to be working but when I put a disk in nothing showed up. MakeMKV didn't even recognize that there was a disk in the drive. I had put a 4K disk in so I removed it and put in a regular Blu-ray but that didn't work either. The drive doesn't spin up when it is closed it just sits there until you open in. Am I doing something wrong with the drive? Could the problem be that I haven't patched it yet?

are you passing the drive through to a VM? how are you running MakeMKV?
