I have the pioneer BDR-XS07UHD, it rips Blu rays just fine from a video perspective but there is no audio. I have tried a few different Blu-rays, it same problem repeatedly. I have tried searching the form, but maybe I am searching the incorrect verbiage.
Any suggestions?
Blu-ray plays, no audio
Re: Blu-ray plays, no audio
Generally speaking, MakeMKV will not give you an MKV output if it could not construct the MKV file with what you asked it to do. Is there ANY audio in the resultant files?
If you have MakeMKV configured to only output, say, English audio, but there is no English track on the disk, it will output a file with no audio. Under Preferences->Language, what do you have for the "Preferred language"? If it is set to anything but "None", the program will not default to extracting any other language automatically.

Re: Blu-ray plays, no audio
The file output is an MKV. There is audio in the auxiliary files/ outtakes/etc, just not the main movie.
The language preference is set to none.

What does MediaInfo say about your .mkv file? Are there any audio tracks in the file?
