Hi,
I need to retire my PC for a bit and need to fall back to my laptop for general use. Can I remove my desktop sized WH16NS60 and plug it into a SATA/USB adapter and then plug it in to a USB port and then use on my laptop?
I thought this was possible, then a I read a comment on the SATA adapter I was eyeing up that the optical drives just appear in Windows storage manager and aren't functional.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ben.
WH16NS60 - Will it work via USB/SATA adapter?

Afraid not, USB does not deliver enough power for the drive. You need to get a GPO powered USB/SATA adapter.ben_uk wrote: ↑Mon Jan 02, 2023 8:50 pmHi,
