Getting this error for one of my blu rays. Any ideas? Disk plays fine in standalone BD player. The movie file does not seem to save.

Try gently cleaning the disc.
Unlike your blu-ray player, MakeMKV tries to verify that it correctly reads all the bits from the disc. It won't save a file that it can't correctly read. There's no way to disable this feature.
