The Indian Pacific - Exception error

#1 Post by pgalbavy » Fri Oct 21, 2022 1:28 pm

This title is an Australian DVD from the makers of The Ghan.

I have tried over various version to rip this but it always fails at the same point. The disc is clean, no defects visible in lighting tests and I thin kI have ripped it as an ISO before.

I am creating a TESTDUMP as I type.

The errors reported are:

There are no CC/Subs, just a single audio track. I will post a link to a dump file once I have created / uploaded it.

I have sent a link to the testdump to support email.

I did a backup to ISO (using makemkv) and that was fine, I then used ffmpeg to convert to mkv, which generated errors about a phantom/new video stream at the same point, but managed to get through it. The resulting video shows a little pixelation for a few frames at the point of error, but is otherwise watchable.
