Confusion about mkv and mvc formats

#1 Post by Jessecash1 » Tue Jul 12, 2022 6:58 am

I want to invest in a 3d bluray system for my home theater, however i am unsure if my system is able to play them. My projector only supports mkv files. The manual says nothing about mvc, will my projector be able to play the disc or will i need a different projector? Any help would be appreciated

3D is dead. You might want to reconsider if you still want to invest in a format that is dead end already.

Utter nonsense. I still buy modern 3D blu-rays regularly. The 3D Film Archive also still releases vintage 50's 3D films. Vinegar Syndrome just recently released another of their 3D 70's/80's horror titles.

People have been claiming it's dead for years, yet many still enjoy the format. Is it struggling? Yes. Is it dead? Not at all.
