I've noticed this on a bunch of CW comic book show blurays, but it seems that makemkv doesn't always parse the deleted scenes correctly.
i.e. if I string the playlist, I see
$ strings 00201.mpls
MPLS0200
`01208M2TS
1eng
`01226M2TS
1eng
`01268M2TS
1eng
`01269M2TS
1eng
but makemkv only shows
Title information
Name: Supergirl Season 5 Disc 3 (English)
Source file name: 00201.mpls
Duration: 0:03:14
Chapters count: 2
Size: 296.1 MB
Segment count: 2
Segment map: 1208,1226
File name: Supergirl Season 5 Disc 3.mkv
but mkvtoolnix-gui does the correct thing with the same playlist, so that's what I ended up using.
makemkv parses supergirl deleted scenes incorrectly
Re: makemkv parses supergirl deleted scenes incorrectly
so I used hdcookbook's playlist dumper and it was able to parse the file fine, this seems to be an issue with makemkv.

Re: makemkv parses supergirl deleted scenes incorrectly
if you play 01268.m2ts and 01269.m2ts in a video player, what do these videos actually show?
maybe they're like 0 frames and MakeMKV ignores them, but that is just a guess.

Re: makemkv parses supergirl deleted scenes incorrectly
they play fine. they are also playable with the episodic deleted scene playlist. and if I play the playlist directly in players that support it, I see all the deleted scenes
