AVA blue-ray

#1 Post by sword4nsics » Wed Oct 07, 2020 7:31 pm

I recently got the blue-ray movie AVA but I cannot get the External ASUS BW-16D1X-U nor the Buffalo BRXL-PT6U2V drive to even see/recognize the disc on either of two different Windows 10 systems or with MakeMKV (latest two versions). If i put the disc in my regular blue-ray player for my TV it plays just fine. The disc is new and has no scratches or visible defects. Any ideas? My initial thought is the movie is so new that it has some encoding that is not readable with computer drives till they are updated. But it doesn't quite jive with the fact a regular blue-ray player reads the disc.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
