AFAIK, Pioneer drives don't (yet?) support this feature.
By the way, I'm working on a Pioneer flashing tool (currently called "DVRTool") and want to support these S12/212 series, too. Please contact me, if you have already bought this drive.

And, if by any chance the program tells you something like "saved file FW_xxxxx.tgz, please send it" - then please do as it says

If somebody else will get this drive, please contact me, I need to dump some binary data from this drive to add its support to a Pioneer drive flasher I'm working on. Thanks in advance!

Blackened2687, I sent my dump to mike a few months ago. I didn't realize until now that you were after a dump for this model too. Anyway, here you go.Blackened2687 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2019 1:52 pmIf somebody else will get this drive, please contact me, I need to dump some binary data from this drive to add its support to a Pioneer drive flasher I'm working on.
