Captain America: The Winter Soldier Problem

I recently ordered a used blu ray version of this movie from Amazon a couple days ago and tried to rip it using MakeMKV. However, after several attempts, the application for some reason can't read the disc. It always stops reading the disc after about 10 minutes, or after reading 6.4GB of the 37GB file on the disc.

I'm using an LG USB external drive connected to my MacBook laptop, and I've ripped at least 20-30 blu rays with it without encountering this issue, which leads me to think the problem is the disc itself. I've cleaned the disc and there doesn't appear to be any scratches or fingerprints on it; the disc also plays fine on my Xbox One and on my laptop using the external blu ray drive. However, I think the disc looks unusual compared to my other blu rays because there isn't any sort of image/artwork from the movie on it, the title of the film is in small font, and the texture of the top of disc feels like it's made of slightly different material. What do you guys make of this? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I tried it using multiple versions of MakeMKV, so I don't believe that is the issue. I sent the disc back and received a refund from Amazon after I noticed that there were, in fact, a fair amount of scratches on the disc. None of the scratches were particularly large, and they weren't even visible until I held the disc close to a light source, but I must assume they affected how MakeMKV was trying to read the data.

Once I re-purchase the movie again and use another disc, I'll update the thread to see if that was the culprit.
